The Engelberg Leadership Scholarship is a three-year scholarship, open to all rising
sophomores (or transfer students with 16 credits or less), who are a resident of Atlantic
City, Absecon, Pleasantville, Egg Harbor Township, or Galloway; OR a graduate of Atlantic
City High School.
Eligible candidates should:
- Be enrolled full time at 国产传媒.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Have demonstrated financial need.
- Be willing to commit to a residential student experience.
- Have a demonstrated commitment to community service in the Atlantic City area.
- Have demonstrated leadership and extracurricular involvement.
- Have professional work experience and engagement.
Application Process:
- Each applicant will submit a personal statement of between 800 and 1,000 words which
addresses the following:
- Your interest in the program.
- Your leadership and community engagement.
- Your growth and future impact.
- Financial need and educational access.
- Each applicant must also submit two personal references. References should be able
to speak to the applicant鈥檚 personal or academic success, community service, or some
other area of the applicant鈥檚 achievements.
- One Stockton faculty or staff member: Choose a person you have made a connection with.
- Someone who can tell the committee more about you: An employer, mentor, high school teacher or counselor, religious leader, etc.
- Submit your materials via the online application form.
- Selected students will be asked to interview with a selection committee on campus soon after applications are submitted.
